VOLUNTEERING WITH SHP

Thank you for your interest in helping us help kids get off the floor and into their own new, clean, comfortable and sturdy bed or bunk! It takes a lot of volunteers to help us help kids in need, so here are some ways you can help.

BUILD BEDS
Check out the upcoming build dates listed below. Most builds are closed (private) builds, meaning build sponsors are given first dibs on available volunteer positions. However, we usually need a few additional volunteers at builds. We will also be hosting build evenings at our warehouse located at 3462 River Hills Drive 45244. If you would like to volunteer to build beds, email todd.forman@shpbeds.org.

DELIVER BEDS
Check out the calendar below. We need volunteers to help deliver. If you would like to volunteer for a delivery day, click the corresponding REGISTER button (if one is available) or email kim.drefcinski@shpbeds.org.

BED BUILD EVENTS
CLICK HERE for a list of Private Bed Build events. For Private Builds, sponsors get first dibs at volunteer spots, however email todd.forman@shpbeds.org if you’d like to be added to an invite list if openings are available.

HOST A BEDDING DRIVE
A HUGE way you can help us is by hosting a bedding drive: bed-in-a-bag, pillows, comforters, blankets, stuffed animals. All bedding must be new and twin size. We can even bring a full-size bed, a mini-bed, or a collection container to your location! Contact carrie.sitarski@shpbeds.org for more information.

SPONSOR A BED BUILD EVENT
If you have a company or organization that would like to host a build event and are able to provide financial support to cover the costs of the beds, let us know! Email todd.forman@shpbeds.org and he will reach out to discuss.

FUNDRAISE FOR SHP
We always need help finding new people who like our mission and are able to support us financially. If you can help us reach donors, email todd.forman@shpbeds.org.

MARKET SHP
We need help spreading the good news of what we do and helping build our volunteer database. If you have special skills in this area, email carrie.sitarski@shpbeds.org.
