SHP – Teen Team

TEEN LEADERSHIP
SHP Cincinnati is dedicated to helping teens from across Hamilton County find ways to be an active and integral part of our chapter.  This team is led by Core Team members Caroline Jennings (MND), Teresa Linser (Indian Hill) and Marley Cady (Indian Hill).  We are open to more teens joining our leadership team! 

TEEN TEAM MISSION

The SHP Cincinnati Teen Team is a group of high school students, dedicated to raising awareness for those in our community who are sleeping on the floor. Our mission is to get high school and middle school students get involved with Sleep in Heavenly Peace so they can make an impact in people’s lives and feel the fulfillment of serving others.

Our Teen Team will support our mission in a variety of ways:

• Building Beds – Team members are invited to join us for our regularly scheduled sponsored bed builds, as well as Teen Build Nights at our warehouse.
• Delivering Beds – Team members can help with our regularly scheduled delivery days, as well as Teen Team Delivery Days that will be scheduled.
• Bedding Drives – Team members are asked to host a bedding drive at their school to help provide new twin-size bedding for kids in need.  We will even bring a bed to your school to set up and will serve as a focal point for the drive! 
• Teen Nights @ SHP Warehouse – This fall and winter, teens from across Cincinnati can come together to build beds for kids in need. Visit www.shpcincy.org/teenbuilds for information. 
• Teen Team Build Event – In the Spring 2025, a Teen Team Build Day will be held where teens from across Cincinnati can come together to build beds for kids in need.
