SHP – Indian Hill HS Fundraiser

Give a child the gift of a new bed this holiday season! 

Hello Indian Hill Community –

The Indian Hill High School Braves on a Mission Service Team is excited to partner with Sleep In Heavenly Peace – Cincinnati to provide ready-to-sleep-in beds to kids in need of a clean, comfortable, safe and secure place to dream. And we need your help.

MANY KIDS NEED BEDS
There are approximately 3000 kids in the Cincinnati area who are sleeping in inadequate conditions – on a floor, doubled-up with siblings or a parent, on an old couch, on a pile of clothes or even on the floor.  Why are kids in this situation?  CLICK HERE for some real-life requests from our applications.

ABOUT SHP CINCINNATI
Sleep In Heavenly Peace is a national 510(C)(3) organization dedicated to helping every child get off the floor and into a bed of their own.  The Cincinnati Chapter of SHP (www.shpcincy.org) was formed in January 2024 to serve Hamilton County and Northern Kentucky.   IHHS senior Marley Cady and sophomore Teresa Linser serve on the Core Team for the Cincinnati Chapter.

FIRST YEAR RESULTS
Through large sponsored bed-build events with companies like MegaCorp, 3DColor, Cincinnati Reds Foundation, FC Cincinnati Foundation, Duke Energy, P&G Ventures, Keep Going 25, Greater Cincinnati Mortgage Bankers Association, Mount Notre Dame, and other organizations, over 700 volunteers will have built and delivered 250 beds to kids in need by the end of 2024.  Our goal is to build and deliver between 500 beds in 2025.

WAYS WE CAN HELP

(1) MAKE A DONATION

• $10 provides a blanket
• $45 provides a comforter, sheet set, and pillow
• $95 provides a memory foam mattress
• $250 provides a ready-to-sleep-in single bed
• $500 provides a ready-to-sleep-in bunk bed

(2) SPONSOR AN INDIAN HILL HS BED BUILD EVENT
If you would to help sponsor a 40 (or more) bed bed event for Indian Hill High School,  contact Todd Forman at the email below he will reach out to discuss. A donation of $10,000 per bed will provide IH students the opportunity to hand-build 40 beds and provide delivery opportunities to kids in need.  (CLICK HERE to see what a bed build looks like.)

(3) HELP SHP CINCINNATI WITH TRANSPORTATION
Our chapter is growing and we are in need of a deliver van/truck to assist with our bed deliveries.  If you are in a position to provide a vehicle or sell/lease a discounted vehicle to us, please contact Todd at the email below to discuss.

(4) HELP SHP CINCINNATI WITH WAREHOUSE SPACE
We are looking for affordable, secure warehouse/workshop space in central Cincinnati area (Norwood, Reading, Evanston) so we can better serve the Cincinnati and northern Kentucky area. Please contact Todd at the email below if you can help.
